What Is a Nova Hub — And How Does It Work?
A Nova Hub is a cluster of Nova Cube pods deployed at a single location. Learn how Hubs work, where they're installed, and how they generate revenue.
When people hear "Nova Cube," they often picture a single pod. But Nova Cube doesn't deploy single pods. It deploys Nova Hubs — dedicated zones housing multiple pods under one roof, in one location.
Understanding the Hub model is key to understanding how Nova Cube scales — and how partners earn from it.
What Is a Nova Hub?
A Nova Hub is a modular cluster of Nova Cube pods installed at a single venue. Think of it as a smart workspace zone — a branded area inside a mall, campus, apartment building, airport, or office complex where multiple pods sit side by side, all connected to the same booking platform.
A Hub can have as few as two pods or scale to dozens — depending on the location's foot traffic, available space, and demand potential. Inside every Hub, you'll find a mix of single-user pods and multi-user pods, configured based on the specific needs of that location.
Where Are Nova Hubs Installed?
Nova Hubs are deployed in high-traffic, high-demand locations:
- Malls — Empty storefronts and underused corridors become productive zones
- Campuses — Libraries, student centers, and common areas gain private study and work pods
- Apartment complexes — Lobbies and common rooms become smart amenities for residents
- Airports and transit hubs — Gate areas and terminals offer private, productive spaces for travelers
- Office buildings — Lobbies and shared floors gain private, bookable meeting and work pods
The common thread: locations with high foot traffic and underutilized space.
How Does a Nova Hub Get Set Up?
The process from first contact to live bookings follows five steps:
- Contact — A space owner or partner reaches out to Nova Technology to express interest.
- Feasibility Review — Nova Cube's operations team reviews the location — assessing foot traffic, space layout, infrastructure, and demand potential.
- Agreement — Terms are finalized with the Investor Partner (who owns the physical pods) and/or the Host Partner (who provides the space).
- Installation — The Nova Hub is set up according to Nova Cube's Design KIT standards — ensuring every Hub looks, feels, and operates consistently across all locations.
- Go Live — Pods are activated on the centralized booking platform. Users can find, book, and access them immediately.
How Does Revenue Work?
Every booking at a Nova Hub generates revenue. That revenue is distributed among three parties:
- Nova Cube — receives a royalty for brand, technology, and platform services
- Investor Partner — receives their share as the pod and Hub owner
- Host Partner — receives rent or a revenue share for providing the physical space
The exact distribution is defined in each partnership agreement. All transactions are tracked through Nova Cube's centralized platform — transparent, verifiable, and accessible to all parties.
Why Hubs, Not Single Pods?
Nova Cube doesn't allow single-pod installations. Every deployment is a Hub — a minimum of two pods per location. Here's why:
- Brand presence — A single pod is easy to overlook. A Hub creates a visible, branded zone that attracts attention and drives walk-in bookings.
- Operational efficiency — Managing a cluster of pods at one location is more efficient than scattered individual units.
- User experience — Multiple pods mean more availability. Users are less likely to find "no pods available" at a Hub than at a single-pod location.
- Revenue density — More pods per location means more bookings per square foot — better returns for every partner involved.
Nova Hubs Today
